Global Client Partner, Manufacturing in Basel, Switzerland

Your mission:

The Global Client Partner (GCP) is accountable for both farming (up-sell and cross-sell) and delivery in large account. GCP will be responsible for driving profitable growth from the account by:
  • Developing strategic relationships with decision makers in the account
  • Creating and sharing sales success stories
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction through world class delivery

Your tasks will include:

Relationship building
  • The GCP develops and strengthens relationships with decision makers in the account. He/she should become a trusted IT advisor to the customer
  • The GCP builds a trusted group of referable contacts who can vouch for Wipro. He/she ensures a balance of customer engagement across business, management and operations
Account Management
  • The GCP identifies opportunities of growth in the account and leads account strategy. He/she drives penetration in customer’s business units and maintains a comprehensive account growth strategy
  • He/She will be responsible of mentoring and nurturing next line of leadership in the account team. He/she ensures high customer satisfaction, loyalty and quality of experience
  • He/She will communicate progress against account plan and other related developments to relevant stakeholders
Delivery Management
  • The GCP ensures cross-geographic synergies in delivery execution. He/she will be in charge of orchestrating internal resources to give customer an enhanced delivery experience. He/she conducts regular delivery reviews
  • The GCP monitors key metrics on a regular basis and plans for initiatives and actions to be taken up to achieve cost optimization and improve service standards.
Resource and Solution Management
  • He/she optimally utilizes the resources towards effective implementation of development and delivery plans
  • He/she showcases Wipro’s solutions as a strategic fit to customer organisation through workshops, presentations and executive meetings

Skills and experience:
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration
  • 20 + years of overall experience in sales and account management with experience of managing large accounts in the IT professional services field
  • Experience in handling engagement with global service delivery models with offshore delivery of more than 250 + employees
  • Strong solutioning background on Workplace services, Cloud Infrastructure and Data centres
  • Domain expertize on IT Infra solution for Manufacturing client
  • Ability to work with an offshore model
  • Conceptualized, solutioned transformational themes in IT Infrastructure bringing cost saving for customers
  • Fluency in English
  • Should have had an executive connect and experience of influencing business decisions at CIO – 1 at the customers organization
  • Previous experience in managing accounts with $70 million plus annual IT services revenue
