The charter of Manufacturing Consulting unit is to help our clients unlock significant value in their businesses by addressing their critical issues through Domain Relevant and Process led Business and IT Transformation capability. 

Manufacturing Consulting unit’s capabilities span Business and IT Transformation areas. Some of the key topics we work on are:
  • Idea to Market transformation (PLM, Innovation, Product Management, etc.)
  • Market to Order transformation (CRM, Sales Force Effectiveness, CPQ, etc.)
  • Order to Cash transformation (SCM, Working Capital Management, etc.)
  • Digital transformation
  • Industry 4.0
  • Service transformation
We are looking for individuals from Management Consulting business background who are already working at a senior, at least Senior Manager/ Director Level, with no less than 12 years’ consulting experience, comprising at least a couple of areas mentioned above, for at least 1-2 of our vertical industries. For Consulting Partners, the expectation is at least 15 years’ relevant experience. Of particular interest is experience of Digital enablement and transformation in manufacturing context.

Responsibilities
  • Work with our clients – across both proactive and reactive engagements (via RFP, Client driven briefs) to help them shape their transformation agenda, and develop, agree and implement operational plans and blueprints 
  • Work with broader Wipro teams (IT and Business Process Outsourcing, Applications, Engineering, and larger Digital) to craft superior value proposition solution for our clients, and win more business – both new as well as in existing accounts
  • Help development and maturity of Manufacturing Consulting by working with leadership team to advance our though leadership, client development themes, as well as people development (direct management as well as coaching)
  • Create impact through growing the client relationship profile and generating pull-through business
  • Provide consulting leadership on priority accounts, growing Consulting (Business / IT / Digital Consulting) revenues
  • Lead the delivery of Consulting client assignments, providing senior leadership and advise to clients, with expected utilization of 30% - 50% (to be confirmed)
  • Manage both Consulting sales and client assignment delivery 
  • Develop thought leadership, propositions and service offerings, building our brand within the Manufacturing sector 
  • Help raise the profile of Consulting within the sector, for example by speaking at public events, conferences and analyst days demonstrating domain thought leadership and insight
  • Financially, manage the achievement of the overall consulting performance for the focused account/ client

Experience
  • Significant professional experience in a top consulting organization at senior levels
  • Manufacturing domain depth and ability to manage growth across client accounts
  • Willingness to be onsite at a client location and able to travel extensively to support the needs of the business
  • Experience with global delivery models
Location / Travel:
  • Extensive travel (domestic and / or international) may be required
