Appirio Senior Functional Consultants are tasked with facilitating requirements development sessions to gain an understanding of our customer's current state processes and technology and supporting implementation work that follows. The Senior Functional Consultant will elicit current state pain points and uncover gaps in CRM best practices. From the session output, the Senior Functional Consultant will work with their delivery team to design a future state solution and be responsible for its approval and decomposition into user stories. When appropriate, they will also produce more detailed supporting materials such as business cases, business process diagrams, wireframes and other context diagrams. As a Senior Salesforce Consultant, the Appirio Senior Functional Consultant should efficiently synthesize both technical and business information and present implementation needs and options confidently. The Functional Consultant presents complex information equally well to a C-level audience or a developer community. The Senior Functional Consultant has hands on experience implementing Salesforce functionality and can act as a knowledgeable liaison between technical teams, testing teams and business stakeholders during the implementation phase. Additionally for this region, the Senior Functional Consultant will need to be actively involved with helping with pre-sales and estimations for upcoming projects. As this is also a new region for Appirio, this role also provides great opportunity to gain experience in setting up a Salesforce practice for the company. Role Responsibilities This role is focused on Salesforce.com customer implementations. Senior Consultants will work onsite with customers to analyse their requirements, develop designs, and implement Salesforce.com and systems. Specific areas of concentration include: System implementation & adoption Salesforce.com service & support Salesforce.com Salesforce automation Pre-sales support Person Description Education and Experience (Requirements): B.S. degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent 5+ years of experience with technical implementations of customer projects Advanced experience with Salesforce.com configuration Experience with other CRM software (Siebel, Clarify, Vantive, Peoplesoft, NetSuite, etc.) is an advantage Experience with enterprise integration tools and extract, transformation and load (ETL) tools Strong presentation and communication skills Strong customer facing skills Enthusiastic, professional, and confident personality, with a focus on customer success Excellent listening skills to fully understand the customer requirements and pain points Ability to translate customer requirements into implementation plans Technical acumen to convert plans into real solutions that work Driven by customer success with a team player attitude Background in CRM process design and implementation Previous consulting experience at a SFDC gold partner or above is desirable ADM 201 at a minimum, Salesforce Cloud Consultant certifications desirable Located in Paris, France Fluent in English and French Able to travel
