Background

The Digital value chain (DVC) practice is part of Wipro’s Strategy & Transformation Consulting organisation and covers business consulting / business transformation across all aspects of our Client’s operational value chain. Specific elements in this are as follows

·       Supply chain (sourcing, procurement, manufacturing, logistics & distribution)

·       Portfolio (product development, product life-cycle management, portfolio segmentation)

·       Customer (customer experience, order management, customer segmentation, customer pricing & profitability)

Through application of innovative data-driven insights and rapid prototyping DVC is enabling Clients to improve operations and associated business performance. Some example results of DVC engagements include

·       Reducing inventories and working capital across the value chain

·       Reducing lead-times and lead-time variations

·       Improving customer service level and fulfilment

·       Reducing cost to serve

·       Improving margin & profitability

·       Increasing top-line revenue

DVC engagements leverage the combined impact deep data insights and industry leading subject matter experts to create impactful business transformation solutions leveraging data-driven insights, industry leading thinking and high-impact consulting execution

DVC also uses digital transformation levers such as rapid prototyping, experience design or digital rigs to significantly reduce time-to-value for our Clients and enable a shift towards becoming a digital organisation

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate profile would be comprised of the following attributes

·       10 years of visible impact senior-level Management Consulting experience across the operational value chain in several industries

·       Proven track record of business consulting solution design and consulting asset application

·       Proven track record of consulting sale & delivery leadership

·       Highly innovative and impact thinking in both business operating model transformation and technology

·       Deeply conversant with today’s technology disruptors (RPA, Cognitive Computing, IoT, Blockchain etc)

·       Experienced in digital transformation and rapid impact engagement leadership

·       Results driven team player who is able to inspire a highly diverse global team


The objectives of this role are business development and growth whilst also being required to bill direct time to specific Client engagements in order to ensure market intimacy and direct industry visibility. The role reports to the Global Head of DVC
