Role Summary
This role is primarily responsible for developing strong client relationships and managing large engagements (single/multiple). They are responsible for developing and selling innovative value propositions within the product/practice space and drive real, measurable value for clients and for developing major accounts in consultation with Consulting Partners & Sales Teams. The incumbent could also be responsible for managing a sub practice within the domain practice.

Principal Responsibilities

  •  Assumes responsibilities as the main client contact leading engagement w/ 10-20% support from Consulting & Client Partners. 
  •  Develops, assesses, and validates a client’s business strategy, including industry and competitive positioning and strategic direction 
  •  Develops solutions and services to suit client’s business strategy 
  •  Estimates scope and liability for delivery of the end product/solution 
  •  Seeks opportunities to develop revenue in existing and new areas 
  •  Leads an engagement and oversees others’ contributions at a customer end, such that customer expectations are met or exceeded. 
  •  Drives Proposal creation and presales activities for the engagement; new accounts 
  •  Contributes towards the development of practice policies, procedures, frameworks etc. 
  •  Guides less experienced team members in delivering solutions. 
  •  Leads efforts towards building go-to-market/ off the shelf / point solutions and process methodologies for reuse 
  •  Creates reusable IP from managed projects 

Must Have 
  • Appreciation of the client's competitive landscape and ability to leverage it to tailor our consulting approach 
  • Required Domain Certifications / Accredited Industry Course( External / Internal) 
  • Applies understanding of costs and profitability drivers, along with market trends, competition and external environment factors. 
  • Familiarity to solution building processes like SCR ( solution, complication, resolution) and identify patterns and create what-if scenarios 
  • Ability to facilitate large workshops for problem definition and solution 
  • Wider Domain appreciation to be able to cross sell services 
  • Complete Subject Matter Expertise in 3-4 areas / product or process ie ( Can design requirement gathering for the entire program , can visualize process changes ; system changes etc. ) 
  • Master's Degree or equivalent in Business Administration or relevant domain certifications & qualifications 

Must Have
  • Has the necessary experience to work independently on defining solution for a medium to complex projects or contribute to solution of a very large program 
  • Has a range of experience across in projects in the areas of Technology Assessment & OCM ; Lead efforts in deploying recommendations 
  • Played analyst & consultant roles (varying capacities) for 8-10 assignments covering areas of Business Process Analysis & Engineering, Program Management & Solution Architecture 
  • Has Worked in client locations with client business/ IT managers 
  • Experience of delivering more than one solution based project. 
  • Authored at least 3-4 white papers ; led RFP & RFI efforts 
  • Handled revenue responsibility of a significant size and scale independently 
  • Leading Teams of BA; Consultants 
  • Presented in Industry Domain Forums & consortiums
